OPPO's Future Imaging Technology-2021' was held with all the innovative innovations in the technology sector including under display cameras.


The global smart device brand Oppo Online hosts the event where the latest developments in smartphone imaging technology like sensors, modules and algorithms are unveiled.





The company is working on these photo capturing technologies with the aim of making it easy for people to capture the beauty of their surroundings through smartphones.


The technology displayed by Oppo includes next-generation RGBW sensors, 75-200mm (mm) continuous optical zoom, Five-Axis OIS technology, under-screen cameras and several AI algorithms.


In the future, using these innovative technologies, various benefits including light-sensitivity, zoom capability, stabilization will be available for taking pictures on Apo phones. At the event, various aspects of various technologies invented by Apo were discussed in detail.


Apo's next-generation RGBW sensor camera has been paired with conventional Red, Green, Blue (RGB) extra white sub-pixels (W) which has increased the pixel's light-sensitivity. The camera also includes DIT technology and Apo 4-in-1 pixel algorithm.

With the addition of these technologies, the new sensor can hold 60 percent more light than the previous sensor. And up to 35 percent can eliminate noise. As a result, the image quality will be brighter even in low light or at night. Apo plans to launch RGBW technology-rich phones commercially by the end of 2021.


In order to turn Continuus Optical Zoom into Super Smooth Zoom, Apo has come up with 85-200mm R and the attached Five-Axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) ensures clearer snapshots than ever before.


For the first time, G + P (glass + plastic) lens technology has been used in it. Its two ultra-thin and fine glass enhances the optical effect. As a result, the stress light is reduced and the original quality of the picture is maintained. Close-ups or personal portraits without cropping make each shot great.


At the event, Apo introduced another new technology called Five-Axis OIS technology. It basically takes movement data from the gyroscope of the system processor and breaks it down into smaller parts by analyzing that data again through its own algorithm. 


Sensor-shift OIS is used when the size of the data movement is large. The whole process goes on like this. And none of this is done to maintain the quality of the picture. Apo Five Axis OIS technology will be unveiled for cameras in the first half of 2021.


Let's move on to the under screen camera. Discussions have already started about the technology of Apo camera. It has caught the attention of technology lovers. This brings a fair balance between camera quality and screen.
